Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions about eSIM answered

What is an eSIM?
An eSIM (embedded SIM) is a digital SIM card built into your device. Unlike traditional physical SIM cards, eSIMs don't require inserting a physical card — you simply scan a QR code to install and activate your mobile data plan. Most smartphones released after 2018 support eSIM.
What's the difference between eSIM and a physical SIM?
The main difference is that eSIM doesn't require a physical card. You can install it before departure and activate it instantly upon arrival — no need to queue up or wait for delivery. Additionally, eSIM can coexist with your existing physical SIM, so you can keep your original number for receiving texts.
How soon will I receive my eSIM after purchase?
Instantly! After completing payment, you'll immediately receive your eSIM QR code on the order confirmation page and via email. No waiting — install anytime.
How many eSIMs can I install on one phone?
Most eSIM-capable phones can store multiple eSIM profiles (iPhones can store 8 or more), but only a limited number of lines can be active simultaneously. You can switch between different eSIM lines as needed.
Can the eSIM make calls and send texts?
We provide data eSIMs, primarily for mobile data connectivity. You can use data-based apps like WhatsApp, LINE, and Telegram for voice calls and messaging. Some plans may include calling features — please check individual plan details.
What happens when I run out of data?
When your data allowance is used up, the eSIM will no longer provide data connectivity. You can purchase a new plan to continue using data. We recommend choosing a plan with slightly more data than you expect to need.
Can I share my data with others?
Yes! You can share your eSIM's data connection with other devices using your phone's Personal Hotspot feature. However, please note that sharing data will consume your data allowance faster.
Can I get a refund after installing the eSIM?
Once an eSIM is installed (QR code scanned and profile downloaded), it cannot be refunded. If you haven't installed the eSIM yet, you can request a full refund within 7 days of purchase. Please see our Refund Policy page for details.
Does my phone support eSIM?
Most flagship phones released after 2018 support eSIM, including iPhone XS or later, Samsung Galaxy S20 or later, Google Pixel 3 or later, and more. Check our Compatible Devices page for the full list, or dial *#06# to see if an EID is displayed.
Do I need to enable roaming when using eSIM?
Yes, you need to enable 'Data Roaming' in your phone settings after arriving at your destination. Don't worry — using our eSIM data plan won't incur any additional roaming charges. All costs are included in the plan you purchased.
